The development and success
of the agency is due in great part to the volunteer support it
receives from the community. Volunteer support is evident in many
areas including: Board and advisory committee members, representatives
from businesses, referral agencies and consumers who serve on
the advisory boards for the centers, members of service organizations
and employees of area businesses who donate their time and money
to various projects of the agency; various individuals who have
special interests and/or skills who assume functions which would
otherwise be provided by staff or likely not at all; and finally,
our dedicated auxiliary members.
For
over 55 years, our auxiliary members have donated their time to
benefit Mt. Diablo Center
through a number of fundraising events. We
appreciate their strong commitment and support of our programs.
